The Deep Blue Sea
Terence Davies, 2011

It reminded me of Resnais’ stylised theatrical adaptations, esp Mélo,

their willingness to examine drama in “antiquated” material

and illustrate it in the most perfect cinematic form possible.

Hauntingly dreamy,

like its climactic camera movement.
